Designer - Structural

KBR is seeking a Designer - Structural to join our dynamic team. The role involves designing, analyzing, and detailing structural systems and components for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze structural systems and components using engineering principles and software tools.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure structural integrity and project feasibility.
• Review and approve construction drawings and related documents.
• Perform structural analysis using software tools and manual calculations to validate designs.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural conditions and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Resolve design issues and challenges that arise during construction phases.
• Stay updated on building codes, regulations, and industry standards relevant to structural design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Relevant experience in structural design, analysis, and project execution.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD, SAP2000, ETABS, or equivalent).
