Role & Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and prototype fashion-forward apparel designs aligned with seasonal trends, brand aesthetics, and wearability benchmarks.
- Collaborate with material scientists and production engineers to develop and test novel fabric compositions, finishes, and construction techniques.
- Translate design concepts into technical specifications (tech packs, garment specs, grading rules) for seamless factory handoff.
- Conduct wear-testing, fit analysis, and performance validation across multiple body types and usage scenarios.
- Integrate R&D insights into recurring design cycles—optimizing for cost, sustainability, and scalability without sacrificing design intent.
- Document design iterations, material trials, and testing outcomes for intellectual property tracking and cross-team alignment.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Garment construction & pattern-making
- Technical design software (e.g., CLO3D, Browzwear)
- Fabric science & textile testing
- Material sourcing & vendor coordination
- Design-to-production workflow
