Design Visualization & Architectural Storyteller
We are seeking a creative and design-driven Design Visualization & Architectural Storyteller to join our team. This role sits at the intersection of architecture, visualization, communication, and emerging AI technologies.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about transforming architectural ideas into compelling visual narratives through concept diagrams, massing studies, animated videos, AI-generated imagery, and presentation graphics. Beyond creating beautiful visuals, the candidate should be capable of communicating the design journey, intent, and project story in a clear and engaging manner.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture preferred.
- 5-6 years of experience in architectural visualization, design communication, or concept development.
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles, urban design, massing strategies, and spatial planning.
- Ability to interpret and communicate design intent through graphics, animation, and storytelling.
- Strong visual sensibility with an eye for composition, narrative, and presentation design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in SketchUp, Rhino, similar 3D modeling software.
- Experience with animation and visualization tools such as Lumion, Twinmotion, After Effects, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Familiarity with AI-powered visualization and content creation tools such as Midjourney, Suapp, Adobe Firefly, Nim Video, or equivalent.
- Strong graphic design and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop compelling architectural narratives that communicate project vision, design intent, and development strategies.
- Create massing studies, concept development videos, site analysis animations, and design process visualizations.
- Produce diagrams, infographics, motion graphics, and visual storytelling content for competitions, presentations, and marketing initiatives.
- Generate AI-assisted concept imagery and mood visuals to support early-stage design exploration.
- Create animated walkthroughs and short films illustrating project evolution from concept to realization.
- Collaborate closely with architects and design teams to translate complex ideas into engaging visual content.
- Develop presentation strategies that effectively communicate architecture to clients, stakeholders, and the public.
- Research and implement emerging AI, visualization, and storytelling tools to enhance design communication workflows.
- Maintain visualization standards, templates, and graphic language across projects.
Preferred Attributes
- Strong portfolio demonstrating concept diagrams, storytelling presentations, animations, and architectural visualization work.
- Interest in urban design, architecture, branding, filmmaking, and digital media.
- Understanding of narrative structure and visual communication.
