Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Design Trainee to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about various facets of design, including User Interface (UI), User Experience (UX), Graphic Design (GD), and related fields. You will gain hands-on experience and develop your skills under the guidance of experienced professionals, contributing to a variety of design projects. This role offers exposure to a broad spectrum of design practices, allowing you to explore your interests and discover your strengths.
Learning and Development:
- Participate in training sessions and workshops covering UI/UX design principles, graphic design fundamentals, and other relevant design disciplines.
- Assist senior designers in conducting user research, usability testing, and market research.
- Learn to create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, visual designs, and marketing materials.
- Gain proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Explore and learn about various design mediums like digital, print, and branding.
Design Assistance:
- Assist in creating visual designs and mockups for web and mobile applications (UI/UX).
- Help design marketing materials, including brochures, posters, social media graphics, and presentations (GD).
- Assist in maintaining design systems, style guides, and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with developers and marketing teams to ensure design implementation accuracy.
- Assist in the creation of user personas, brand guidelines, and marketing campaigns.
Research and Analysis:
- Assist in analyzing user feedback, market trends, and competitor designs across various design disciplines.
- Research industry trends and best practices in UI/UX, graphic design, and related areas.
- Assist in creating user journey maps, brand analysis reports, and marketing research documents.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with designers, developers, product managers, and marketing professionals.
- Participate in team meetings, design reviews, and brainstorming sessions.
- Provide and accept constructive feedback to improve design outcomes.
Qualifications:
- A strong passion for design in general, with interest in UI/UX, graphic design, and related fields.
- Basic understanding of design principles and user-centered design.
- Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus.
- Strong visual communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and design trends.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A portfolio or examples of design work, showcasing a range of design skills, is highly encouraged.
