Description

We are seeking a Design Release Engineer - Exterior Trims to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have 3-10 years of experience in the automotive industry, focusing on the design and development of exterior trim components. This role involves working closely with various engineering teams to ensure the successful release of high-quality products.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop exterior trim components for automotive applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure product feasibility.
  • Perform detailed design analysis and validation of exterior trim components.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and specifications for design release processes.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables to meet production schedules.
  • Conduct design reviews and present findings to stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD).
  • Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes for exterior trims.
  • Experience with design validation techniques and tools (e.g., FEA, DFMEA).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
