Role Description
To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following
Qualifications
- Conduct thorough audits of design outputs to ensure compliance with industry standards and quality benchmarks.
- Review design calculations, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and feasibility.
- Identify potential design flaws and quality issues, providing corrective action plans and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with design engineers to discuss findings and suggest viable solutions.
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing audit findings and present these to the reporting authority.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, codes, and regulations related to structural design.
- Facilitate training and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance quality awareness within the design team.
Education and Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of hands-on experience in detailed structural design, specifically with cable-stayed bridges and associated structures.
- Previous experience as a design engineer with a proven track record of quality assurance or quality control roles.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex findings clearly and effectively.
- Experience with design software and tools relevant to structural engineering.
- Professional engineering license (PE) or equivalent is preferred.
