Role Title: Design Project Specialist.

We are looking for a Design Project Specialist to support the design team at the Marriott Tech Accelerator by managing intake, prioritization, and delivery of design work in an agile environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage intake, prioritization, and tracking design work.
• Coordinate delivery across design, product, and engineering teams.
• Support agile planning, ceremonies, and backlog management.
• Track timelines, dependencies, and risks.
• Maintain delivery documentation and status reporting.
• Own the backlog and prioritize work across foundational improvements, technical debt, and new feature development.
• Successfully and autonomously support multiple tracks of work at once.
• Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships and high-impact initiatives.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES:

Intake & Planning:

• Manage incoming design requests and prioritization.
• Support sprint planning and backlog grooming.

Delivery Management:

• Track milestones and dependencies.
• Ensure visibility into delivery status.

Operational Excellence:

• Identify opportunities to improve workflows.
• Maintain documentation and reporting.

Skill and Experience:

• 2–4 years of experience in project management or design operations.
• Experience supporting design or technology teams.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Design, or related field preferred.
