Design Project Manager

Position: Project Design-Store Set Up

Qualifications: Graduate Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Retail

Management, or a related field.

Industry: Retail

Location: Andheri -Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi

Experience: Proven experience 4+ retail store design, project execution, or interior

Setup.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Store Design & Layout Assistance

Assist in developing store layouts, floor plans, and fixture placements using

AutoCAD.

Work with senior designers to create technical drawings and 3D visualizations

for store setups.

Ensure store designs align with brand guidelines, space efficiency, and customer

experience.

2. BOQ (Bill of Quantities) Preparation

Prepare and maintain BOQs for materials, fixtures, and store setup

requirements.

Assist in estimating material costs and coordinating with procurement for cost

effective solutions.

Support vendor selection by gathering and comparing quotations for project

materials.

3. Project Coordination & Setup Execution

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for store setup

execution.

Ensure timely dispatch and installation of store branding materials, furniture, and

displays.

Support site visits and supervise installation work as per approved design plans.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate design files, project progress reports, and material records.

Assist in preparing store opening checklists and compliance documents.

Communicate regularly with senior management and project teams regarding

progress updates.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D drafting).
• Basic knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other design tools (preferred).
• Understanding of BOQ preparation and material estimation.

Other Skills:

• Good communication and vendor coordination abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
• Willingness to travel for store setups and site visits.
