Job Description
Design Manager – HT/LT & Busduct
Industry: Electrical Panel Manufacturing
Experience: 8–15 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and engineering of HT/LT Panels, PCC, MCC, APFC, AMF, VFD and Control Panels.
- Design and develop LT Busduct/Busbar Trunking systems, including sizing, layouts, joints, bends and tap-offs.
- Prepare/review SLD, GA, schematic, wiring drawings, BOM and technical documents.
- Perform busbar sizing, short-circuit, load and voltage-drop calculations.
- Ensure designs comply with IEC/IS standards and customer specifications.
- Manage and guide the design team and ensure timely drawing release.
- Coordinate with Sales, Production, Purchase, Quality, Testing and Projects.
- Provide technical support during manufacturing, testing and site issues.
- Review customer/consultant specifications and provide technical clarifications.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in HT/LT Panel & Busduct Design.
- Good knowledge of switchgear, protection, busbar sizing and electrical calculations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; EPLAN/ETAP knowledge preferred.
- Good team leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
