Position - Design Manager

Position Summary:
We are seeking an innovative and experienced Design Manager specializing in interior design for hotel projects. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of interior design, from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring the project meets the highest standards of aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability. This role requires a creative visionary with exceptional project management skills and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead the interior design process for the hotel project, including conceptual design, space planning, material selection, and furnishing.
- Develop and present design concepts to clients, incorporating their vision and requirements.
- Oversee the creation of detailed design documents, including drawings, specifications, and mood boards.
- Develop and manage interior design schedules, ensuring timely completion of design phases.
- Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update clients and stakeholders on design progress and decisions.
- Respond to client feedback and make necessary design adjustments.
- Develop and manage the interior design budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure all interior design activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Prepare and present regular design status reports to senior management and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in design management, preferably in the hospitality sector.
- Proven track record of managing design phases of large-scale hotel projects.
- Strong understanding of design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and project management tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
