Unison Education and Research Foundation is proud to announce that it is currently developing a large-scale educational infrastructural project in Dehradun - a landmark addition to our legacy of quality education since 1996. As we progress through the design and development phase of this landmark project, we are looking for an experienced Design Manager (Architect) to join our Projects team.
Role Description:
- The Design Manager will be responsible for overseeing architectural planning, managing design projects, coordinating with teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Coordinating the design packages with the Principal Architects and Consultants.
- Coordinating with MEP and structure consultants, vendors on a regular basis and visiting sites to ensure proper construction process till hand over.
- Ensure design quality, compliance, and alignment with project timelines & budgets.
- Knowledgeable in structure coordination, MEP services, detailing drawings and building codes.
- It is important for this role to have great coordination skills and in-depth knowledge of the entire project cycle from design to end construction.
- Ability to create precise technical documents for construction projects.
- Maintaining proper documentation of all coordination.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from a recognised/reputed institution.
- Minimum 5 years of full-time, relevant professional experience in architectural design and project execution.
- Proficiency in architectural design and planning, with experience in software tools such as AutoCAD and similar design tools, is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction standards applicable in India.
- Proven ability to prepare and manage architectural submittals, drawings, specifications, and other project documentation efficiently.
- Candidates who are willing to relocate to Dehradun and can commit to the project cycle for a minimum duration of 5 years shall only apply.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
