Design Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and creative Design Manager to lead our interior design team

and oversee the development of innovative, functional, and aesthetically appealing design

solutions. The Design Manager will manage multiple projects, coordinate with clients and

stakeholders, ensure design quality, and guide the team from concept development through

project execution.

Key Responsibilities:-

Design Leadership:

● Lead and mentor a team of interior designers, architects, and design coordinators.

● Develop creative design concepts aligned with client requirements and company

standards.

● Review and approve design proposals, drawings, presentations, and material selections.

● Ensure consistency in design quality across all projects.

Project Management

● Manage multiple interior design projects simultaneously.

● Establish project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

● Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of design deliverables.

● Coordinate with project managers, procurement teams, and site execution teams.

Client Management:

● Meet with clients to understand project requirements, objectives, and budgets.

● Present design concepts, mood boards, layouts, and material selections.

● Address client feedback and incorporate revisions effectively.

● Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Technical Coordination:

● Review space planning, detailed drawings, BOQs, and technical documentation.

● Coordinate with consultants, vendors, contractors, and suppliers.

● Ensure designs comply with building regulations, safety standards, and project

specifications.

● Support site teams during project execution and resolve design-related issues.

Business Development Support

● Assist in preparing design proposals and presentations for new business opportunities.

● Participate in client pitches and design competitions.

● Stay updated on industry trends, materials, technologies, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

● 8–12+ years of experience in interior design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

● Strong portfolio demonstrating commercial, residential, hospitality, or corporate interior

projects.

● Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Photoshop, and MS Office.

● Excellent project management and leadership skills.
