Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the design engineering team, providing guidance and mentorship to team members
- Oversee the design and development of desalination, water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, and water irrigation systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, from conceptualization to completion
- Drive innovation and sustainability in design solutions, incorporating the latest technologies and best practices
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and safety requirements throughout the design process
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver high-quality engineering designs
- Conduct regular quality reviews and assessments to maintain the highest standards of design excellence
- Provide technical expertise and support to internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation
- Contribute to the overall strategic direction and growth of the engineering department
Technical Skills
- Expertise in Dam Design, Tunnel design
- Expertise in water treatment plant design and operation
- Proficiency in STP and desalination design and management
- In-depth knowledge of water irrigation network systems and technologies
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
- Understanding of hydraulic modeling and environmental impact assessment
- Experience with project management tools and techniques
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and environmental standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (preferred), Environmental Engineering, or related field
Master's degree in Engineering or relevant discipline preferred
Experience
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in the Desalination, Hydro, WTP, STP, and water irrigation industry
- Demonstrated track record of leading design engineering teams and delivering successful projects
- Proven experience in developing and implementing innovative and sustainable design solutions
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices
