Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Design Intern at Marketing Tusk. The Design Intern will support the design of pitch decks, marketing collateral, social media creatives, and brand assets aligned with client goals and narratives. Responsibilities include translating briefed concepts into clear visual designs, assisting in visual storytelling for founders and funds, and adapting graphics for multiple formats and platforms. The intern will collaborate with the marketing and strategy teams, participate in design reviews, and incorporate feedback to refine deliverables. The role may also involve basic research to understand client industries, audiences, and investor expectations, ensuring designs are both visually appealing and strategically effective.
Qualifications
- Strong visual design skills, including Graphic Design and Graphics, with an ability to create clear, engaging pitch and brand materials.
- Experience or familiarity with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Architecture concepts, especially for visually structuring complex information or spatial layouts.
- Ability to conduct Research to understand client contexts, audience needs, and design best practices.
- Proficiency with common design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar) and comfort working with digital assets and presentations.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or course in Design, Visual Communication, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow brand guidelines, and openness to iterative feedback in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams.
- Portfolio or samples demonstrating design work, preferably including presentations, brand assets, or marketing creatives.
