Yurica Ovaerenu, the CEO of Adler, embarked on her entrepreneurial journey at the age of 16 while attending Seoul Science High School (SSHS), a highly selective high school for gifted students. She chose to drop out of Seoul National University (SNU), the top-ranked university in Korea. At the age of 27, she became a serial entrepreneur who underwent a gender transition at 26. We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a pivotal role in developing our innovative 3D content creation platform, including our proprietary XRML language and engine. Responsibilities span both front-end and back-end development, requiring a deep understanding of complex system architecture and the ability to mentor junior developers. The Senior Software Engineer will also be instrumental in breaking down complex tasks and pushing the boundaries of our technological capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and refinement of designs across various formats, including 3D, 2D web, and 2D graphic design.
• Support the design team in developing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and development to ensure cohesive and visually appealing designs.
• Contribute to the development of visual elements such as icons, graphics, and layouts.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for design projects.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve design approaches.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Ensure that designs align with branding strategies and contribute to a consistent brand identity.
• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality designs at a fast pace.
• Assist in the optimization of designs for various platforms and devices, ensuring high performance and user satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• A keen eye for design and attention to detail.
• Experience in creating designs, either through academic projects, personal projects, or previous internships.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new design challenges.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fast and efficient work style with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Basic understanding of tech, IT services, or technical concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max).
• Familiarity with web and mobile interface design principles.
• Knowledge of user experience (UX) principles and user-centered design methodologies.
• Experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
• Ability to analyze design feedback and iterate on design solutions.
• Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative design ideas.
• Familiarity with current design trends and best practices.
• Experience in 3D, gaming, VR, or AR related design.
• Understanding of how design impacts branding and the ability to create designs that support branding efforts.
• Experience in optimizing designs for various platforms and devices to ensure high performance.
• Understanding of technical aspects of design, including optimization and IT services.
