Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Design Intern to support the design team across research, development, and day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn the end-to-end design process-from concept to sampling-while contributing meaningfully to ongoing collections.
Key Responsibilities- Research & Development Support
- Assist in trend research, mood boards, and concept development
- Compile inspiration references across silhouettes, fabrics, colors, and trims
- Support in fabric and trim sourcing coordination
- Sampling Coordination
- Assist in tracking the sampling process from development to final samples
- Help prepare and organize materials required for sampling
- Coordinate with pattern masters, tailors, and vendors for follow-ups
- Design Assistance
- Support designers in creating tech packs, CADs, and design presentations
- Help with basic sketches, artwork placements, and design updates
- Data & File Management
- Maintain organized records of design files, tech packs, and sampling updates
- Ensure proper documentation and version control across collections
- Manage physical and digital folders, archives, and sample inventories
- General Team Support
- Assist during fittings, photoshoots, or internal reviews when required
- Support cross-functional coordination with merchandising and production teams
Key Skills & Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Design or related field
- Basic understanding of garment construction and design processes
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
