Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a Design Head who can lead the complete design function for social media across multiple client accounts. This role is focused on high-quality execution, team management, and consistency in creative output, ensuring all designs align with brand guidelines and platform trends.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Creative Leadership

· Lead design for all social media accounts across platforms

· Ensure visually strong, engaging, and brand-consistent creatives

· Maintain consistency in layouts, grids, and overall visual identity

· Improve first-draft quality and reduce rework cycles

· Bring fresh, trend-driven ideas to social media creatives

2. Team Management & Execution

· Manage a team of designers handling multiple brands

· Allocate tasks and ensure timely delivery across all accounts

· Review and approve creatives before final delivery

· Monitor team productivity, quality, and adherence to timelines

· Train and mentor team members to improve output and efficiency

3. Quality Control & Delivery

· Ensure all creatives meet internal quality benchmarks

· Maintain strong attention to detail in every output

· Handle high-volume deliverables without compromising quality

· Take ownership of final output across all clients

4. Process & Workflow Management

· Ensure smooth execution of daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables

· Maintain trackers, task systems, and reporting discipline

· Coordinate closely with social media, content, and performance teams

· Improve turnaround time and reduce bottlenecks

5. Innovation & Trends

· Stay updated with social media design trends and formats

· Introduce new visual styles, formats, and creative approaches

· Experiment with reels, carousels, static formats, and ad creatives

· Leverage AI tools to improve speed and efficiency

Key Skills Required

· Strong expertise in social media design (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)

· Excellent sense of layouts, typography, and color balance 

· Strong team management and leadership skills

· Ability to handle multiple brands simultaneously 

· High attention to detail and quality control

· Fast execution with minimal dependency

· Problem-solving and proactive mindset

Tools & Expertise

· Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)

· Basic knowledge of motion/video tools is a plus

· Familiarity with AI design tools

· Experience with design resource platforms

Experience Required

· 3-5 years of experience in a digital/creative agency 

· Experience in a managerial or team handling role is preferred 

· Proven experience in handling multiple social media accounts
