Design Engineer to lead our product development and casting tooling design.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and tooling/patterns using PTC Creo and SolidWorks.
- Perform structural, thermal, and fluid flow simulations using ANSYS to validate casting integrity, optimize risers, and reduce defects.
- Collaborate directly with the pattern-making and production floors to ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
Requirements
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years in mechanical/tooling design.
- Software Skills: Strong hands-on proficiency in Creo, SolidWorks, and ANSYS.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience or a strong understanding of the casting/foundry process, gating/risering, and GD&T.
