Required Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering
- 35 years of hands-on experience in Automotive Seating or Interior/Structural Components.
- Strong command of CATIA V5/V6 (Part Design, Assembly Design, Drafting, Sheet Metal, Surfacing).
- Good understanding of:
- Metal/static structural design (welded assemblies, stamping, tubing).
- GD&T, tolerances, and engineering drawing standards.
- Manufacturing processes: stamping, hydroforming, welding, laser cutting, etc.
- Experience with OEM product development processes (gate reviews, change management).
- Good communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
