Automobile Transmission design (2D and 3D)
Responsibilities
- Design and development of transmission components and systems in compliance with standards.
- Design knowhow Transmission products such as Torque Converter, Dual Dry Clutch, Dual Wet Clutch, Dual Mass Flywheel, Gear / Speed Reducers, Clutch Kits & Aftermarket Solutions
- Create 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA with a focus on manufacturability and assembly feasibility.
- Conduct design reviews, tolerance stack-up analysis, and DFMEA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analysis, manufacturing, and validation).
- Manage design changes and support product development from concept to production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, powertrain/transmission mechanisms.
- Good knowledge of GD&T and automotive standards.
- Hands-on experience in CATIA surface and solid modeling.
