Job Title: Design Engineer
Location: PUNE
Experience: 6-8 years
Job Description: 1. Provide comprehensive PLM support for Teamcenter, addressing and resolving issues based on the Ticket Management System (TMS). 2. Execute PLM development activities in response to Change Requests (CRs), ensuring alignment with project specifications. 3. Manage and perform PLM migration activities according to defined priorities and project timelines. 4. Prepare detailed user manuals and documentation for various PLM functionalities and system enhancements. 5. Conduct user hand-holding training sessions to facilitate effective system adoption and user proficiency. 6. Perform thorough root cause analysis for technical issues, developing and proposing effective solutions. 7. Interact directly with clients to understand support requirements, gather new requirements, and provide technical insights. 8. Ensure the timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery of all assigned project deliverables.
Skills and Qualifications: Required: 6-8 years of professional experience in PLM engineering or a related field. Strong understanding of PLM architecture principles and best practices. Proficiency in C Programming with hands-on experience in Teamcenter Unified Architecture (TCUA) development. Experience with Teamcenter ITK and BMIDE customization. Excellent analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork.
