We are looking for bright and passionate candidate for the position of Design Engineer – Interior & Exterior Trims, with experience in:

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 2 to 8 Years

Job Summary:

Design Engineer – Interior & Exterior Trims with experience in automotive plastic trim and Bumper design. The role involves end‑to‑end design support for interior trims, exterior trims, and bumper systems using CATIA V5/V6, ensuring quality, manufacturability, and regulatory compliance. JLPT N5/N4 proficiency is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & development of interior trims: IP, Door Trims, Console, Pillars, Roof Trims, Garnishes.
• Design of exterior trims & bumper components: Grilles, Claddings, ORVM covers, Bumper fascia & garnishes.
• 3D modelling & 2D drawing creation using CATIA V5.
• Apply plastic part design principles: draft, ribs, bosses, wall thickness, tooling feasibility.
• Ensure DFM/DFA, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up compliance.
• Support pedestrian safety,Regulatory awareness and basic CAE requirements.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional and supplier.

Required Skills:

• CATIA V5 (Part, Assembly, GSD & Drawing).
• Automotive plastic injection moulded part design.
• Interior & exterior trim development lifecycle.

Language Requirement:

Japanese Language – JLPT N5 or N4 (Preferred)
