Job Title: Design Engineer (Solar)

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to support solar project execution through design, planning, and documentation. The candidate will be responsible for preparing layouts, reports, and technical drawings to ensure efficient project implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare solar system drawings based on site survey data
Develop detailed project layouts and general arrangement (GA) drawings
Design solar mounting structures (RCC, ground-mounted, and rooftop systems)
Perform shadow analysis for solar installations
Generate PVSyst reports for project feasibility and performance
Prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPR) and handover documents
Create and optimize BOM (Bill of Materials) and BOS (Balance of System)
Review and verify drawings for ACDB, walkways, and related accessories
Coordinate procurement of BOS materials
Respond to client queries related to design and layouts
Prepare structural drawings as per project requirements
Eligibility Criteria
Experience: Minimum 12 years as a Design Engineer (preferably in solar industry)
Qualification: Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Required Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and PVSyst
Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and Google Sheets
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Salary
30,000 35,000 per month
Working Details
Working Days: 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday)
Office Timings: 9:30 AM 6:00 PM
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in solar project design will be an added advantage
Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
