Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented
Design Engineer with hands-on experience in
SolidWorks . The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing 3D models and engineering drawings while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks
- Develop and modify product designs based on project requirements
- Perform design validation and ensure manufacturability
- Collaborate with production, quality, and project teams
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards and company guidelines
- Support prototype development and testing activities
Required Skills Qualifications
- Minimum 1.5 years of experience in design engineering
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and GDT
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience in product design or industrial equipment design
- Familiarity with other CAD tools is an added advantage
