Role Description

We are looking for a Design Engineer with hands-on experience in sheet metal design and fabrication, who understands how designs translate into laser cutting, bending, welding, and assembly.

This is a full-time on-site role based in Madurai. The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing based on customer requirements, utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tool. The role involves executing detailed technical designs and ensuring high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• Design sheet metal components and assemblies for laser cutting and fabrication
• Prepare manufacturing-ready CAD drawings with accurate dimensions, tolerances, and bend details
• Create DXF / DWG files suitable for fiber laser cutting machines
• Coordinate with production teams
• Revise designs based on shop-floor feedback
• Ensure designs meet quality, strength, and functionality requirements

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum1 year experience in sheet metal design / metal fabrication
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes
• Experience designing for laser cutting, bending, and welding
• Proficiency in AutoCAD / SolidWorks / similar CAD tools
• Ability to work on-site in Madurai
