Design Engineer

 Functional Area – Design Engineer             

·        Design and development of commercial kitchen equipment such as Display counters, work tables, refrigeration units, and storage systems.

·        Sheet metal design including cutting, bending, and fabrication detailing.

·        Development of fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and production layouts.

·        Material selection (stainless steel, glass, insulation, refrigeration. components) based on application and durability.

·        Integration of refrigeration systems, heating elements, and electrical components into designs.

·        Preparation of BOM (Bill of Materials) and support in cost estimation.

·        Coordination with production and fabrication teams for design feasibility and execution.

 Key Responsibilities – Design Engineer   

·        Design display counters (hot, cold, bakery, sweet display, etc.) as per client specifications.

·        Select appropriate materials such as stainless steel, glass, insulation, and refrigeration components.

·        Ensure design feasibility, durability, and ease of manufacturing.

·        Work on thermal and structural considerations for hot and cold counters.

·        Coordinate with production, fabrication, and quality teams for smooth execution.

·        Communicate with clients for design approvals and modifications.

·        Optimize designs to reduce cost without compromising quality.

·        Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and assist in cost estimation.

·        Ensure designs meet food safety and hygiene standards.

·        Follow industry standards for commercial kitchen equipment.
