Job Role: Design Engineer

We are hiring an experienced Design Engineer with hands-on expertise in heavy machinery, sheet metal, weldments, and manufacturing design. The ideal candidate must have strong DFM knowledge and experience working in the manufacturing sector (mandatory).

Key Responsibilities

• Experience in sheet metal and weldments with strong Design for Manufacturing (DFM) knowledge.

• Perform hand calculations to size structural members, fasteners, and load-bearing components.

• Hands-on experience working with driveline systems, engines, and related assemblies.

• Develop conceptual designs and possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.

• Proficient in 3D modeling, conceptual design, and creation of manufacturing drawings.

• Strong design background with exposure to product development and manufacturing workflows.

• Excellent knowledge of GD&T, dimensioning, tolerances, and industry best practices.

Familiarity with ANSI standards & AWS specifications.

Designing supporting structures for: Cone Crushers Vertical Shaft Impactors (VSI) Vibrating Screens

Designing walkways, railings, and ladders for screens and cone crushers.

Preparing layout drawings based on customer requirements.

Design and assembly of belt conveyors and related structures.

Conducting site visits to understand machine performance in real working conditions.

Detailing individual part drawings and preparing GA drawings in AutoCAD.

Required Qualification

B.Tech / B.E Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering

35 years of experience in Core Manufacturing / Machinery / Heavy Engineering
