Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Design Engineer role based in Chennai. The Design Engineer will develop and refine technical designs for cleanroom systems, including layouts, mechanical components, and supporting utilities. Daily responsibilities include creating detailed drawings and models, preparing design documentation, coordinating with project and installation teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and specifications. The role involves reviewing client requirements, performing basic calculations, supporting cost and material estimates, and participating in design reviews. The Design Engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve design issues and support continuous improvement in engineering practices.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Design Engineering with the ability to translate requirements into practical, manufacturable solutions.
• Background in Mechanical Engineering and Product Design for industrial or building services applications.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
• Understanding of Electrical Engineering principles relevant to cleanroom systems and building services is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline) or equivalent technical qualification.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to interpret technical specifications and standards.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with design, project, and site teams.
• Experience in HVAC, cleanroom, or building services design is beneficial but not mandatory.
