Location- R&D Centre of an MNC at Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop power electronic systems, including AC/DC converters, DC/DC converters, inverters, and motor drives.
• Perform simulation, analysis, and optimization using MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice, LTspice, or similar tools.
• Select and qualify components, materials, and suppliers based on performance, cost, and availability.
• Develop, test, troubleshoot, and validate hardware prototypes and digital control systems.
• Design magnetic components (inductors, transformers) and optimize power semiconductor devices (MOSFETs, IGBTs, GaN, SiC).
• Ensure compliance with EMC/EMI, thermal management, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and cost-effective solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in power electronics design and development.
• Hands-on experience in hardware prototyping, testing, and debugging.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice, LTspice, or equivalent tools.
• Good understanding of power semiconductors, magnetics design, thermal management, and EMC/EMI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
• Master's degree from a reputed institute with specialization in Power Electronics is preferred.
