Design Engineer PEB

Job Summary

The Design Engineer PEB will be responsible for structural design, analysis, and detailing of Pre-Engineered Building systems. The role includes preparing structural calculations, optimizing steel structures, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring designs comply with applicable codes and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Preparestructural design and analysis of PEB structuresincluding primary members, secondary members, and connections.

Performload calculations(dead load, live load, wind load, seismic load, crane load, etc.) as per applicable design codes.

Developdesign calculations and reportsfor approval from clients or consultants.

PrepareGA drawings, design drawings, and connection detailsin coordination with detailing teams.

Optimize design to achievecost-effective and safe structural solutions.

Coordinate withsales, estimation, production, and site teamsfor technical clarifications.

Ensure designs comply withIS codes, international standards, and project specifications.

Review and approveshop drawings and fabrication drawings.

Providetechnical support during project execution and erection stages.

Attend technical meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge ofPEB structural systems and steel structures.

Familiarity withdesign codes (IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893, etc.).

Experience instructural analysis softwaresuch as:

STAAD Pro

ETABS

Tekla

AutoCAD

Good understanding ofconnection design and detailing.

Ability to optimize designs forweight and cost efficiency.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualification

B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering(Structural specialization preferred)

Experience

35 years of experiencein PEB design or steel structure design.

Preferred Experience

Experience inindustrial buildings, warehouses, factories, commercial buildings, or airport structures.

Knowledge ofPEB detailing and fabrication process.
