Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer with hands-on experience in SolidWorks 3D modeling. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical components and assemblies as per project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop product designs based on client or internal requirements
- Create 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and documentation
- Modify and improve existing designs for better performance and cost efficiency
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards and company guidelines
- Conduct basic simulations/feasibility checks (if required)
- Maintain and manage design revisions, version control, and drawing updates Candidate
Requirements:
- Diploma / bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in SolidWorks (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of 3D modeling.
- Understanding manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred)
