Key Responsibilities

Design & Development: Create high-level designs, block diagrams, and detailed schematics for embedded systems, focusing on microprocessor/microcontroller-based hardware and integrating analog/digital circuits.

Prototyping & Testing: Develop, test, debug, and troubleshoot hardware components (individual & integrated), analyze performance, and perform root cause analysis for defects.

Documentation: Prepare detailed specifications, test reports, and design documentation for components and systems.

Collaboration: Work closely with software, firmware, and other cross-functional teams to meet requirements, performance, and cost targets.

Manufacturing Support: Ensure designs are manufacturable (DFM), support production, and address hardware issues during manufacturing.

Technical Support: Resolve hardware-related issues and provide technical guidance.

Technical Skills & Experience (2-4 Years)

Processor Knowledge: Experience with ARM, 8051, 8086, or similar architectures.

FPGA/CPLD: Hands-on experience in FPGA/CPLD design (Verilog/VHDL is often required for higher levels).

Design of DC-DC converters, switching circuits, Mosfets, Amplifiers, signal conditioning ciruits, low pass filters

Bus Protocols: Familiarity with interfaces like I2C, SPI, USB, PCI.

Tools: Proficiency with debuggers (JTAG), oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, Keil, ARM tools, etc..

Embedded: Power supply design, regulators, basic RF/analog/digital circuit design.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication (written/verbal) skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Teamwork and collaboration.
