Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-orientedDesign Engineerspecializing inMEPF systemsto join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and coordinating mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailedMEPF design drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD/Revit and other relevant software.
- Performdesign calculationsfor HVAC, electrical load, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems.
- DevelopBOQs (Bill of Quantities), technical specifications, and design reports.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design integration.
- Review and validate shop drawings, material submittals, and ensure design compliance during execution.
- Participate invalue engineeringto optimize system efficiency and cost.
- Ensure all designs adhere tolocal codes, international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, NBC, etc.), and sustainability requirements.
- Provide technical support during tendering and construction phases.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies, products, and industry practices in MEPF design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 26 yearsof experience in MEPF design (depending on seniority).
- Strong knowledge of MEPF systems, design principles, and integration.
- Proficiency inAutoCAD,Revit MEP,HAP,Dialux,ETAP, or similar design tools.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, BS, IS codes, etc.).
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
