Role Overview

One experienced Mechanical design engineer is required for the NPD team for execution of

ongoing 2 wheeler engineering projects. The role is to independently work on the design as

a designer for the project with adherence to timelines and requirements. The role will

involve having technical discussions with the team, come up with concepts based on inputs

from the team lead and translate concepts into 3D model design with complete detailing.

Key Skills Required:

• 2-Wheeler Vehicle Design Experience (Mandatory)

• Strong knowledge of SolidWorks

• 3D Modeling & 2D Drawing Creation

• GD&T Understanding and Application

• Vehicle Integration Experience

• BOM Preparation & Engineering Documentation

• Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Assembly (DFA)

Preferred:

• Shop Floor Experience

• Knowledge of Homologation & Vehicle Testing

• Familiarity with 2-Wheeler Components (Brakes, Suspension, Bearings, Instrument Clusters, etc.)

• Experience in Assembly & Disassembly of 2-Wheelers

• SolidWorks Certification

Responsibilities:

• Develop concepts and detailed 3D designs

• Create manufacturing-ready drawings and BOMs

• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback

• Support fabrication and manufacturing teams

• Handle engineering changes and documentation updates
