We are seeking a motivated AV CAD Drafter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience creating 2D/3D drawings and AV flow diagrams and willworkclosely with project managers and clients to deliver precise and timely documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to understand project scope and translate requirements into 2D/REVIT drawings.
- Use AutoCAD and Revit to develop Audio-Visual layouts, riser diagrams, and detailed architectural drawing sets.
- Review design inputs to convert them into clear and structured AV system diagrams.
- Estimate drafting labor time based on project information and client inputs.
- Collaborate with engineers and project leads to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of drawings.
- Revise and update drawings as per client or project requirements.
- Maintain organized documentation of projects and revisions.
Required Candidate Profile:
- B.E. in Mechanical or equivalent technical field (preferred but not required)
- 1+ year of experience in drafting/design engineering or related role
- Proficiency in Autodesk tools, specifically AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong understanding of architectural and AV system drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience in the Audio-Visual industry
- Familiarity with AV system components and signal flow
