Design Engineer

Job Description:

• We are looking for a highly motivated Design Engineer with experience in product design and CAD modeling
• The ideal candidate should have hands on expertise in UG NX CATIA or SolidWorks and be capable of creating detailed 3D models assemblies and manufacturing drawings
• Exposure to GD T will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D models assemblies and detailed engineering drawings using UG NX CATIA or SolidWorks
• Create and maintain design documentation BOMs and engineering change records
• Support product design and development activities from concept to release
• Collaborate with manufacturing quality and project teams to ensure design feasibility
• Perform design modifications based on testing customer feedback and engineering requirements
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and company processes
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical inputs for product improvements

Technical Requirements:

• Strong experience in Mechanical Design Engineering
• Proficiency in UG NX CATIA SolidWorks
• Expertise in 3D Modeling Assembly Design and 2D Drafting
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering drawings
• Understanding of BOM creation and design documentation
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of GD T is a plus

Additional Responsibilities:

• Exposure to DFM Design for Manufacturing and DFA Design for Assembly
• Knowledge of PLM PDM tools
• Basic understanding of product lifecycle management processes
