Job Description
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 24 years of relevant experience in structural modeling and design.
- Proficiency in Auto-desk Revit (Structural), ACC Docs and other BIM tools.
- Solid understanding of U.S. Structural Design Codes and standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE, IBC).
- Experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360, and structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD Pro) is a plus.
- Experience working on U.S.-based projects (commercial or residential).
- Familiarity with LOD specifications and BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
- Knowledge of steel, concrete, and wood structure modeling.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage Structural BIM Models in Revit for a wide range of projects including commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.
- Prepare detailed structural drawings, plans, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure model accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
- Assist in clash detection and model reviews using tools such as Navisworks or BIM 360.
- Support engineers in project documentation and technical reports.
- Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
- Following redlines and markups with client communication.
- Managing a team and evolving into the role of QC handling 3-4 clients simultaneously.
