Design Engineer Job Description

Analyze and study all Project Elements including the BOQ, Specification, drawings

Prepare Tender Drawing Its Approval

Prepare Shop Drawing Its Approval

Prepare MTO of all materials required for the project as per specification

Prepare Fabrication Drawing production drawings/information are issued and coordinated with Project Managers and Factory Manager.

Assist Site team for design issue

Assist Site Team for Site Survey

Do Site Visits and attend Design related progress review meeting

Material Reconcilliation

Assist /Help to Billing and Purchase Department

Approval of PI related to All Facade Mateirals

Assist in the creation and updating of the technical submittal registers and ensure timely issue of all engineering deliverables in accordance with contract Programme

Provide conceptual drawings / design sketches and reports are required for schematic, design development, production and installation phases of projects.

Supervising and coordinating the work of other team members and coordinating work with building professionals of other disciplines.

As Project Leader, monitor and report on team performance against agreed timelines, and fees/budgets.

Provide high quality client service delivery in relation to outputs produced for both internal and external clients in accordance with the client's quality technical standards.

Responsible for efficient and profitable completion of all projects and tasks under their control whilst maintaining excellent technical standards and client satisfaction.

Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team
