Design Engineer II – Mining & Metals

Provide essential administrative processes, technical knowledge, and perform assigned engineering work

Support Area Lead or Lead on projects; apply standard engineering techniques to moderately difficult assignments

Apply Cost Competitive Execution techniques to develop cost-effective project solutions

Develop and review specifications, including design criteria

Participate in equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting activities

Perform and check calculations, specify equipment, and solve moderate-to-complex engineering problems

Review vendor equipment documentation within and across disciplines for compliance with project requirements; resolve discrepancies

Analyze and make independent recommendations for solutions to engineering problems

Promote Fluor's competitiveness by delivering quality services with technical competence
