Job Summary
Responsible for project bespoke execute order engineering jobs on pumps including configuration, Create 3D models & GA/2D drawings, BOM, Technical Documentation on pump packages.
Principle Duties And Responsibilities (knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably with diaphragm pumps in order engineering processes, including SAP for creating material masters/BOM, basic knowledge of API 675/676 pumps, creating GAs and datasheets, inspection & test plan, change management, and NCR resolution etc.
- Exposure to Inventor/Vault 2022 is preferred, including sketch modeling, part modeling, assembly modeling, and creating fabrication drawings with BOM, GD&T, and best drafting practices etc.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement activities.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, assembly, testing, and packing, as well as familiarity with DIN/ASTM materials and pipe fittings, including flanges and threaded connections etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effectively communicating thoughts and ideas.
Education And Experience
A BE degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute or university with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Engineer in pump order engineering.
- High level of proficiency in producing General Arrangements (GA), SAP Bill of Materials (BOM), and associated assembly drawings.
- Practical understanding and working knowledge of all aspects of pump assemblies, flanges, and fittings.
- Familiarity with applicable international standards and systems codes such as ASME, ANSI/ASTM, DIN, and EN.
