Mechanical Design of static components & assemblies used in the Packaging of Industrial Equipment using basic calculations, Standards and create 3D CAD and Drawings for manufacture.
Generation of accurate 3D CAD and 2D Drawings for Equipment Components & Assemblies using CREO / Autodesk Inventor & publishing into WindChill.
Responsibilities
- Standard parts management.
- Creation and PLM release of 3D Assemblies, 2D drawings and technical documentation and Industry standards for new and revision of designs, including Machined Castings, Compressor systems.
- Communicate well and Work with Bangalore (also sometimes remotely with global) engineering teams to deliver component, Assembly Level design tasks, commitments & review with ITS Americas team
Qualifications
BE or BTech in mechanical engineering
Essential Skills
- Sound Engineering & Manufacturing Knowledge
- Demonstrated experience in CREO / Autodesk Inventor
- Demonstrated Experience on PLM processes with Windchill
- Exposure to DFM principles for Design of Castings / Machining /Sheet metal Fabrication
- Working knowledge of GD & T and ASME Y14.5 requirements in Drawings
- Knowledge of Tolerance stack-up, ISO system of limits & fits for Engineering & Assembly drawings is a preferred
Desired Skills
- CAD Experience on Compressor and its Packaging (Desirable)
Experience
- Experience in LCE/NPD projects of Packaged Machinery, Compressors, Blowers or Vacuum technology etc.
- Minimum 4-8 years experience after graduation, in the Engineering.
