Roles & Responsibilities:
- Creation of 3D Modeling, Assembly & Drafting with appropriate Catia V5 tool
- Experience in MBD - FTA concepts
- Creation of manufacturing drawings for Casting, machining, and sheet metal components
- Perform mechanical design of components using conventional hand calculations
- Perform stack-up analysis & design hand calculations
- Provide design recommendations to solve non-conformances on product quality
- Interact with customer as needed on task status at a technical stand-point
Required Skills:
- Sound knowledge in Mechanical design fundamentals, Engineering concepts and applications
- Modeling, drafting and assembly knowledge in Catia V5
- Knowledge of GD&T application and Tolerance stack-up analysis
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Good customer interfacing skills
- An excellent team player
Desired Skills & Domain exposure:
- Exposure to Design & manufacturing process
- Aero domain : Exposure to GT engines
Education:
BTech/MTech in Mech Engineering with 3 to 6 years experience
