Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata for a Design Engineer. We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in SolidWorks and automation system design to join our core engineering team. You will work on designing and developing precision systems used in advanced industrial and research environments. The Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and optimizing mechanical and electrical designs for advanced hardware. Day-to-day tasks include working with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software SOLIDWORKS Preferred , contributing to product design, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the engineering precision required for quantum research solutions.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years Expertise in Design Engineering and Product Design
• Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering
• Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software SOLIDWORKS prefered
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to achieving engineering excellence
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-disciplinary environments
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field
• Experience in hardware design for research environments is a plus
