Job Description
Role: Design Engineer
Work Location: Chennai
Domain: Drivetrain Engineering / Clutch System
Experience: 3 to 5 Years of Experience
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Clutch function
- Knowledge on clutch actuation system components
- Knowledge on clutch pipe routing and clutch release layout creation
- Basic knowledge on Driveline interface aggregates
- Agility, Effective Communication & Presentation skill
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Benchmarking of competitor vehicles
- Generate VAVE ideas
- Work closely with Suppliers for proposal discussion
- Work closely with Cross -functional teams throughout VAVE life cycle
- Proficient in 3D modeling & 2D in 3D Experience 23X and Catia V6
- Maintain CAD data and documentation in PLM systems.
