Key Skills: Hardware, Design Engineer, Medical Device
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop hardware for electronic systems, including circuit boards, embedded systems, and other hardware components.
- Create schematic designs, PCB layouts, and system-level architectures to meet product requirements.
- Collaborate with software and firmware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems.
- Develop hardware prototypes, including selecting components and materials, to test and validate design concepts.
- Perform simulations and analysis to ensure optimal performance and reliability of hardware designs.
- Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
- Conduct rigorous testing of hardware designs to identify and resolve potential issues and optimize performance.
- Provide technical support for product development, including troubleshooting hardware problems and suggesting improvements.
- Create technical documentation, including design specifications, testing procedures, and user manuals.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate best practices into hardware designs.
Expirence Requirments:
- 4+years of experience in hardware design, including experience with PCB design, schematic capture, and hardware validation.
- Proficiency in hardware design tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle, KiCad, or similar).
- Strong understanding of electronic components, circuits, and system-level design.
- Experience with simulation software and tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB, etc.).
- Familiarity with embedded systems design and microcontroller-based systems.
- Knowledge of signal integrity, power management, and thermal analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in teams.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- [Preferred]: Experience with FPGA design, analog/digital circuit design, or wireless communication systems.
