Job Description

Key Skills: Hardware, Design Engineer, Medical Device

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop hardware for electronic systems, including circuit boards, embedded systems, and other hardware components.
  • Create schematic designs, PCB layouts, and system-level architectures to meet product requirements.
  • Collaborate with software and firmware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems.
  • Develop hardware prototypes, including selecting components and materials, to test and validate design concepts.
  • Perform simulations and analysis to ensure optimal performance and reliability of hardware designs.
  • Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
  • Conduct rigorous testing of hardware designs to identify and resolve potential issues and optimize performance.
  • Provide technical support for product development, including troubleshooting hardware problems and suggesting improvements.
  • Create technical documentation, including design specifications, testing procedures, and user manuals.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate best practices into hardware designs.

Expirence Requirments:

  • 4+years of experience in hardware design, including experience with PCB design, schematic capture, and hardware validation.
  • Proficiency in hardware design tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle, KiCad, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of electronic components, circuits, and system-level design.
  • Experience with simulation software and tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB, etc.).
  • Familiarity with embedded systems design and microcontroller-based systems.
  • Knowledge of signal integrity, power management, and thermal analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • [Preferred]: Experience with FPGA design, analog/digital circuit design, or wireless communication systems.
