Job Summary
MAS Industries Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our Design Engineering team. This role is ideal for candidates with up to 1-2 year of experience in mechanical design and drafting . The position involves working with CAD tools to develop elevator components and systems, performing simulations, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of designs.
Roles Responsibilities
Create accurate 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks as per customer and project requirements.
Use ANSYS or similar tools to simulate, analyze, and refine designs based on structural and operational conditions.
Prepare customized elevator layouts and component designs aligned with manufacturing and installation needs.
Modify and update existing drawings based on feedback or revised specifications.
Coordinate with internal departments like Production, Project Management, and Quality Assurance to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding design specifications, materials, and production capabilities.
Ensure version control and maintain a systematic record of all design documentation.
Participate in design review meetings and contribute ideas for design optimization and product improvement.
Key Skills Required
AutoCAD 2D/3D Proficiency required
SolidWorks Strong working knowledge required
Basic understanding of ANSYS or FEA software (preferred)
Good understanding of mechanical components, fabrication processes , and technical drawing standards
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently or as part of a team
Good problem-solving and time management abilities
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical/ Automobile Engineering
Experience: 1 - 3 Year
Location Preference: Candidates from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, or nearby regions
