  • Define and maintain commercial references in line with product definitions and engineering standards.
  • Use PDM tools to manage product data, configurations, and change documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Design and develop sheet metal components, plastic parts, and assemblies in both 2D and 3D formats.
  • Apply knowledge of electromechanical parts to ensure compatibility, functionality, and manufacturability within product designs.
  • Interpret technical specifications, product requirements, and application constraints and convert them into precise engineering models and documentation.
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and delivering work to tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate with team members across multicultural groups, providing technical input and assistance in day-to-day engineering activities.
  • Contribute to problem-solving and concept development by applying strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

  • Hands-on experience with Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
  • Mandatory experience in sheet metal and plastic part design, including 2D, 3D, and assembly modeling.
  • Experience and knowledge of electromechanical parts and their application in product design.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and application limitations or constraints and translate them into accurate engineering representations.
  • Capability to support and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong conceptual, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and accurately across multicultural groups.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working with PBOM and other BOM structures.
  • Experience assisting and supporting team members in daily engineering tasks.
  • Comfort working with structured engineering processes and documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy in BOM and PDM systems.

Work Environment

The Design Engineer works in a dynamic, fast-paced engineering environment that requires frequent collaboration with cross-functional and multicultural teams. The role involves extensive use of Windchill, PDM systems, 2D/3D CAD tools for sheet metal and plastic design, and standard office software such as Microsoft Office. Work typically follows standard office hours, with the flexibility to meet tight project deadlines when required. The position is based in a professional office or engineering center setting, with a focus on clear communication, structured processes, and teamwork.
