Incumbent will be responsible to drive the different projects of Design & Developments as per the customer RFQs and business requirements. Have the ability to adhere stringent timelines of customers without any compromise in quality of delivery, right costing and defined processes.
Responsibilities
- Shall be responsible for complete design & development and life cycle of tooling
- Highly skilled and experienced in the plastic injection molding tool design, development and trails
- Check feasibility of design of parts from tool feasibility point of view
- Provide solutions for part design optimization and tool cost reductions
- Conduct tool design reviews along with CFT and tool shop (internal/ external)
- Conduct tool trials and prove the tooling w.r.t the design requirements
- Manage tooling feasibility and changes due to ECN
- Keep record of all tooling data, changes etc.
- Knowledge of Plastics Material & their selection criteria
- Basic knowledge on CATIA / SOLIDWORKS
- Experience in prototyping (rapid and soft tooling)
- Actively participate in DFMEA, DVP and PFMEA reviews and support in preparation of documents
- Experience in New product development process of passenger car OEM's like MSIL, Tata, M&M etc.
- Customer handling
- Knowledge of DFMEA/PFMEA
- Knowledge about drawings, concept Drg. Customer Drg. & other technical requirements
- Study Product Drawing for manufacturing Feasibility of the New Products as per the customer RFQs.
- Adhere the Timelines, customer milestone, delivery etc.
- Prepare/Submit & maintain PPAP Document in line with System/Customer Requirement
- Prepare detailed project Management plan with clarity of each individual defined roles and milestones as aligned with customer required timeline
- Customer Milestone meeting as per timeline and communicate the customer requirements to different stakeholders to meet the customer timeline
- To maintain all Master Record of APQP/PPAP Document with all Approval Record.
- Maintain the ECN Document & Smoothly Implementation in mass production as per Timeline
- To monitor and control product development lots (DP, PP, MPT, Pilot & initial supply control)
Qualifications
DIPLOMA / B.Tech- Mech./ CIPET
AGE- 35-40 yrs
