The Design Coordinator will act as the single-point digital and technical interface between international architects, local consultants, contractors, and the developer, ensuring seamless design coordination, BIM compliance, and data-driven decision making using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and advanced BIM workflows. This role is critical for maintaining design integrity, coordination accuracy, and construction readiness for a 200m+ mixed-use iconic development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. BIM & Digital Design Management:
Manage and administer Autodesk Construction Cloud (Docs, Design Collaboration, Model Coordination).
Establish and enforce BIM Execution Plan (BEP) in line with international standards.
Ensure model compliance across Architecture, Structure, MEP, Faade, Interiors, Landscape.
Lead clash detection, model federation, and issue tracking workflows.
Maintain LOD compliance (LOD 300500) at each project stage.
2. International Consultant Coordination:
Coordinate with international architects and designers (concept, faade, interiors, public spaces). Translate global design intent into locally executable drawings.
Manage time-zone coordination, design submissions, and review cycles.
Prepare structured design review presentations for leadership.
3. Design Development & Control:
Track design deliverables, RFIs, submittals, and revisions through ACC.
Ensure design freezes align with procurement and construction milestones.
Identify constructability risks early and escalate proactively.
Support value engineering without compromising design intent.
4. Coordination:
Conduct regular BIM coordination meetings with consultants and contractors
. Resolve interface issues between:
Core & Shell and Fit-outs
Faade and Structure
MEP and Architectural layouts
Ensure compliance with local codes, international best practices, and project standards.
5. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain digital audit trails for approvals and revisions.
Generate weekly design coordination dashboards.
Maintain a single source of truth for all drawings and models

Qualifications & Experience Education:
B.Arch / M.Arch / B.Tech / M.Tech (Civil, Construction, Architecture or equivalent)
Experience: 715 years in large-scale projects (high-rise / mixed-use / hospitality / commercial)
Proven experience coordinating with international architects
Hands-on expertise in:
Autodesk Construction Cloud
Revit (Architecture, Structure, MEP)
Navisworks Manage
Strong understanding of BIM workflows, clash detection, and coordination protocols See less
