About the Role

WEA Designs is looking for a Senior Interior Designer / Design Consultant who combines strong interior design expertise with a sales-oriented mindset.

The ideal candidate should be confident in interacting with clients, understanding their requirements, presenting design solutions, explaining quotations and materials, building trust, and converting qualified leads into successful interior projects.

This role is ideal for an experienced designer who enjoys both design consultation and client conversion.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective clients and understand their lifestyle, requirements and expectations.
• Explain design concepts, materials, specifications and project scope clearly.
• Present design proposals and quotations confidently.
• Build strong relationships and establish trust with clients.
• Understand client budgets and recommend suitable design solutions.
• Handle client questions, concerns and objections professionally.
• Coordinate with internal design and execution teams when required.
• Follow up consistently with prospective clients.
• Convert qualified leads into confirmed interior projects.
• Achieve monthly sales and project-conversion targets.
• Maintain strong long-term client relationships.
• Ensure a smooth transition from consultation to project execution.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of residential interior design.
• Proven experience in sales and project conversion.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong negotiation and client-handling abilities.
• Ability to confidently present design concepts and quotations.
• Good understanding of interior materials, finishes and execution.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Ability to understand client requirements, budgets and project scope.
• Strong follow-up and lead-conversion skills.
• Target-oriented and commercially aware.
• Highly motivated and genuinely interested in Sales.
• CRM knowledge is an added advantage.

Education

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.
• Graduation preferred.

Experience

• 3–5+ years of relevant experience in interior design.
• Candidates should have experience as a Senior Interior Designer, Design Consultant or similar design-sales role.
• Strong residential interior design experience is preferred.
• Candidates with a proven record of converting interior design leads into projects will be strongly preferred.
